What is the best procedure to prepare for a musical theatre audition? I have one in a couple of weeks and I'm not sure how I should prepare for it.

Just be yourself and you'll succeed. That is my motto. Be calm, and have nerves of steel; nothing can touch you, you're superman. You have confidence. Make sure your vocals are well rehearsed; don't worry, you'll be fine. Good luck!

Vocals vocals vocals! I can't stress that enough! You MUST make sure that your vocals are the best that they can be. Musical theatre is probably the hardest profession to get into, in my opinion; so, I would think that  you would want to make sure that you're vocals are clear as a bell.

I don't know if I would want to do a musical theatre show. I don't know if I could handle this for a job to be honest. Musical theatre isn't my cup of tea.

Vocals are a big plus when trying out for musical theatre. Always try to not stand there like a stone as well. If you can sing and move at the same time you have a great shot.

I never would've thought that vocals were that important. I mean, I understand how they were important, but I would think that there would be other things more important.
