Can anyone suggest a great book that would be full of tips and advice for me? I'd really appreciate it and it would be of great use to me.

The only thing I could think of is to try that series of books ".....For Dummies". They might actually have an acting one. You could also consult your school counselor, or librarian, I'm sure they can help.
